This past Saturday, at the District One Presidents Luncheon, our website won the 1st annual award for Best Online Presence. We were chosen out of 178 clubs in District One.

Kudos to our VP of PR, Michael Tanenbaum, for his unflagging creative genius. A big round of applause to the entire Toastmasters 90210 Executive Committee for their continued pursuit of excellence.

How Did This Award Come About?

In the 21st century, we believe that your online presence tells your story and contributes to your reputation. This is as true with Toastmasters clubs as it is with individuals and brands. In pursuit of growing our brand, we relaunched our website in August, unified the messaging across all of our social platforms and updated the look-and-feel of each touch point. The goal was to more accurately reflect the legacy of our 21-year history, our location within Beverly Hills and our reputation as one of the top-rated clubs in the Southland.

Why Is It Important to Stand Out?

As an individual, it is your unique combination of character traits, values, priorities, relationships and experiences that determines how you stand out. More specifically, the manner in which you communicate, listen and lead determines your reputation in the workplace, among friends and with colleagues.

In Toastmasters, we strive to become more effective communicators and leaders. Our 40+ members have cultivated a joyful, supportive and exciting environment that empowers members to reach their full potential in both public speaking and personal growth. We believe that when learning is accompanied with inspired storytelling, kind-hearted feedback and joyful laughter, members quickly understand that their opportunities for improvement, in their personal and professional lives, are abundant.

Every Toastmaster wants to tell their story. As a club, our online presence tells ours.
