About the Club

For the aspiring speaker or budding leader, Toastmasters 90210 is a bounty of riches. Since Distinguished Toastmaster Ann Hastings founded the club in 1998, we’ve had the privilege of educating our members in the art of public speaking. We are one of the top clubs in our region, achieving the honor of President’s Distinguished nearly every year since our founding.

As a stimulating mix of professionals, artists and community leaders, our club is known for producing powerful speakers and skillful evaluators. Many of our members have gone on to become professional speakers, placed very high in national and international Toastmasters contests and achieved success as leaders in their fields. Our club also consistently hosts and provides coaching to guest speakers headed to the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking, TEDx talks and other venues.

Our 40+ members have cultivated a joyful, supportive and exciting environment that empowers members to reach their full potential in both public speaking and personal growth. We believe that when learning is accompanied with inspiring storytelling, kind-hearted feedback and joyful laughter, members quickly understand that their opportunities for improvement, in their personal and professional lives, are abundant.

We’ve also developed a strong camaraderie outside the club. We host periodic "extracurricular” club activities such as post-meeting schmoozes at a local Beverly Hills wine bar; our twice-annual holiday parties; and the occasional Sunday morning hike.

As one of the top-rated clubs in the Southland, we’ve been designated President's Distinguished for the past 16 years. Our Monday night meetings reflect the exciting diversity that is contemporary Los Angeles and are filled with multi-generational members. Our founder, Distinguished Toastmaster and Past International Director, Ann Hastings, continues to be a driving force in the Club.
